The Chequered Ball is our annual black tie fundraising event.

The venue has changed over the years, from the prestigious Midland Hotel

in Manchester to the fantastic location of The Point at Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

Organised by a dedicated committee largely made up of volunteers,

the Chequered Ball attracts support from generous high profile organisations

such as Breitling Watches, Coca Cola and John Lewis Partnership.

Entertainment at past events has included an exclusive performance by the

world famous Drifters and a superb Motown Live show by the talented Diane Shaw.

We have been fortunate to have former F1 driver Johnny Herbert and

BBC Manchester's Becky Want as special guests at our events. Guests have

also been wowed by the F1 and racing saloon cars on display.
