The Brain and Spinal Injury Centre

BASIC provides a specialist resource at our Centre in Salford for people and their families in crisis following a traumatic brain injury or neurological diagnosis. This includes people recovering from severe head injury, brain haemorrhage, brain tumour and other brain-related conditions such as stroke and brain cancer.

With over twelve years experience of working with this client group we have built up specialist expertise and knowledge from the grass roots. BASIC is affiliated to the Greater Manchester Clinical Neuroscience Centre, and works in close collaboration with the staff there to meet needs of patients within the community.

A program of holistic services means that we can help make a real and lasting difference to people’s lives following a traumatic brain injury.
