In March 2006, HRH the Princess Royal opened "BodyBASIC",

a state-of-the-art power assisted exercise facility at our centre in Salford,

to meet the need for accessible exercise.

Power assisted exercise equipment is specifically designed for people with physical disabilities who need to exercise but could not or would not access a conventional gym.
