24 Peaks Challenge 

Join Team BASIC at this years 24 Peaks Challenge. This challenge will push your stamina and resolve. 

Summary 

The Lake District is one of the most beautiful areas in the UK, filled with breathtaking mountains and valleys - it is the perfect backdrop for this awesome challenge. During this challenge, you will be conquering 24 peaks in the Lakes. 

This challenge will take part across three days. On day 1, you will meet at Penrith train station and then transfer to your accommodation for event registration and briefing. Day 2, you will trek from Bowfell to Green Gabel, conquering 9 peaks and trekking around 28km. Day 3, you will trek from Red Screes to Great Dodd and you will summit the remaining 15 peaks, trekking around 23km. 

On the first day you will take on the following peaks: 

  • Bowfell - 2959ft 
  • Esk Pike - 2903ft 
  • Great End - 2985ft 
  • Ill Crag - 3067ft 
  • Broad Crag - 3064ft 
  • Scafell Pike - 3208 
  • Lingmell - 2647ft 
  • Great Gable - 2949ft 
  • Green Gable - 2627ft 

On the send day you will take on the following peaks: 

  • Red Screes - 2454f 
  • Dove Crag - 2598ft 
  • Hart Crag - 2969ft 
  • Farifield - 2864ft 
  • Seat Sandal - 2414ft 
  • Dollywaggon Pike - 2414ft 
  • High Crag - 2441ft 
  • Nethermost Pike - 2923ft 
  • Helvellyn - 3116ft 
  • Bowncove Crags - 2818ft 
  • Lower Man - 3034ft 
  • Whiteside - 3831ft 
  • Raise - 2896ft 
  • Stybarrow Dodd - 2765ft 
  • White Stones - 2608ft
