Summary It is a magnet for trekkers the world over and one of the most impressive charity challenges you can take on. Its snow-capped summit rises high above the dusty African plains, with huge glaciers flowing down from the summit, spectacular views and beautiful ice formations are the rewards for pushing your body to the limits. This is a tough trek and the route has been designed to allow for gradual acclimatisation, with an extra day included for the more traditional Machame Route. This challenge takes places over 11 days with 7 days of trekking, walking over 93km!
