Dr Clive Langman has worked in vocational rehabilitation since the 1970s in the DWP, health and private sectors, as well as having voluntary commitments. He has also undertaken research into disability and return to work, particularly with regards to pain management and acquired brain injury. Clive is a visiting lecturer at Salford University and a lay member of the Employment Tribunals Service.

When BASIC started a vocational rehabilitation service in 2005 he was invited to undertake staff training and has kept in touch ever since.

He enjoys helping to enable BASIC to provide community-based rehabilitation services for a population that needs support that is simply unavailable elsewhere.
